What We Are About and Why You Should Join

This is basically a fan club for The Dark Is Rising Sequance by Susan Cooper, a fantasy book series from the early and mid 70s, which combines stunning descriptions, interesting(for the most part, and to some of us) characters and a not so rivoting, so much as intelligent plot.

Most of you older deviants(coming from a 15 year old, yes, most of you are old to me, lol, jk) probably read it as children. Care to revisit childhood memories? Join us here!

Well... I devwatched this group, and I've drawn some fanart. *shrug* I'm a 21-year-old that started reading the books because someone mentioned there was an albino character in them. I have this fascination with albinism, so I picked the series up out of curiosity. The books blew me away with the subtle, yet compelling plot that appealed on a very basic level. Now I'm a fan. *waves a flag* Yay TDIR!
